UK & International Shipping

We offer delivery of nearly all of our products from our website to many international destinations. The countries currently served are in the list below. Please email us if your country is not listed and we can check to see if a delivery service is available.

Please be aware though, that for logistical and legal reasons, not everything we sell is eligible for international delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw international delivery from any destination at any time.

Please note that items being adjusted in size may delay dispatch, but we will endeavour to ship your item as soon as possible.

If you’d like to have items sent to separate addresses, please complete a separate order for each address. A separate delivery charge will be made for each address.

In most but not all instances, the recipient will need to sign for an international delivery; this depends on the local carrier and value of the order. We’d advise you assume that someone needs to be in to receive the parcel.

Please note that the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland count as UK, not International delivery.

Sorry – we can’t currently deliver website orders to BFPO addresses.

Duty Payments

Orders being delivered to destinations outside of the UK, may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the products is responsible for all customs formalities for their export and import, and will be required to pay any additional charges, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges. The recipient of the goods, not the person who’s ordered them, may receive a separate request for payment of these charges.

If you’re ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they’re aware they’ll be responsible for these additional charges. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we’re unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We’d advise that you check the import charges applicable in any country prior to you placing an order.

Payment and VAT

Payment for products and delivery services will be made in pounds Sterling. All prices shown on the website for both products and delivery services are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT at the current rate. This means that the total price you pay us for products is always the same, regardless of whether or not UK VAT is chargeable on the sale.

Where you’ve requested delivery to a UK address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will usually include UK VAT, which will be shown on your VAT receipts issued to you, not all items are subject to VAT as some may be within the VAT Margin scheme.

Where you’re not a UK resident and you’ve ordered products for delivery to a non- UK address, both the products and the delivery service will normally be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either.

Changing, cancelling or returning an order

If you’d like to add products to your order, please place a new order for these items.

If you need to change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact us on +44 (0)1394 385088 – 10.00 to 16.30  (UK Time) 6 days a week or email us  info@aspensjewellers.co.uk

If your order has already been shipped to you, then you’ll need to follow our Returns procedure in the event of returning items, please package them securely and send the parcel back to the address shown on your delivery or invoice.

If we have sent you the wrong items, or your order is faulty, damaged or not as described on arrival, please contact us. We will refund any postal charges you incur to return such items.

Please make sure that whatever your reason for returning goods, you obtain proof of postage from your post office or courier, and we will credit your account as soon as possible. If the item is simply unwanted, you will need to pay for postage, and we will not refund your original delivery charge if any.

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Aspens Jewellers.  If you wish to return an item please follow the instructions below.

Refunds can be requested up to 14 days of the date of the goods being received, and exchanges within 30 days from the date of despatch.

Any item being returned must be in unused condition and complete with all original packaging and in a resalable condition.

Please note that items that have been adjusted in size or engraved cannot be returned unless faulty, and we also cannot accept returns of earrings due to hygiene reasons unless faulty.

UK Returns via Royal Mail

Enclose the delivery note / or a copy of the invoice along with the product, and package up securely along with all original packaging.

Please use either Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for items up to £50.00 and Royal Mail Special Delivery for items valued above with the appropriate Insurance in place and retain your certificate of postage from the Post Office

You will be responsible for the cost of returning any item to us unless the item is defective or we have delivered the item to you in error in which case we will refund you your shipping costs.

Returning an item to us in person

Simply bring the delivery note or invoice and the product you wish to return or exchange to the Church Street shop in Woodbridge, and tell the sales assistant you purchase the item online.

For International returns

Firstly email us at info@aspensjewellers.co.uk  explaining the reason for return and we will be in contact to discuss the best method of returning the item to us.

We aim to refund you as soon as possible, but this can take up to 10 working days after the returned item has been received by us.

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (EU customers only)

This legislation offers you the following cancellation rights when you buy online or by phone:

You’re entitled to cancel your contract if you wish, provided that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods.

Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification or that have been adjusted to your size at your request.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you’re obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them until your return them.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address

If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of cancellation and we’ll reimburse you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply. We won’t refund your original delivery charge unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We’ll refund you no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you
