Aspens Jewellers are a traditional working jewellers, we are a family run business with over 100 years of trading and retailing. Retail Sales Assistant
We currently are looking to fill a position for a retail sales assistant at our Woodbridge shop.
The role will entail engaging with customers face to face and on the telephone so good people skills are absolutely essential.
The ability to carry out administrative computer tasks well is also required, as we have an online presence alongside the physical shop.
A suitable candidate should have an interest in jewellery but experience is not essential. The work requires someone with an eye for detail who can work through tasks methodically.
We are looking for someone who is willing to pitch in with all work associated with the day to day running of the business.
The individual will be required to be punctual, reliable and presentable at all times.
This is a permanent full time position, working 4 or 5 days a week.

Jobbing Jeweller / Jewellery Technician
We currently have an opening for a highly experienced workshop technician.
This is not a position for a jewellery designer but a jobbing jeweller.
The role will suit someone with a wide range of bench skills who can undertake ring resizing and general jewellery repairs using traditional techniques.
The ability to rework material with a Durston rolling mill and use of draw plates.
Laser welding repair work including claw work using a Rofin Performance.
Polishing of all precious metals using polishing motors, magnetic pin finishing and barrelling.
Stone setting under microscope would be beneficial.
