Aspens Jewellers are a traditional working jewellers, we are a family run business with over 100 years of trading and retailing. Being family owned, we are agile and are able to change and adapt quickly. We employ a small team, working from our premises in Woodbridge alongside working with UK specialist craftspeople. Book Keeper
We are currently looking to fill a position for a book keeper. Experience in the use of Xero accounting software for accounting and payroll is important along with an understanding of Microsoft Excel.
The role entails all aspects of the day to day book keeping , VAT preparation, along with Payroll responsibilities.
This is a permanent role working one day a week, which could eventually be carried out on a WFH basis.

Jobbing Jeweller / Jewellery Technician
We currently have an opening for a highly experienced workshop technician.
This is not a position for a jewellery designer but a jobbing jeweller.
The role will suit someone with a wide range of bench skills who can undertake ring resizing and general jewellery repairs using traditional techniques.
The ability to rework material with a Durston rolling mill and use of draw plates.
Laser welding repair work including claw work using a Rofin Performance.
Polishing of all precious metals using polishing motors, magnetic pin finishing and barrelling.
Stone setting under microscope would be beneficial.
